The makersSigned by the hands that made it
No factory, no middlemen. Just the artisans of the Marrakech medina and a very short road to your door.
The workshops behind the pieces
Imperial Artisanat is a small team with one job: to bring the craft of the Marrakech medina to the world without flattening it into a souvenir. We do not run a factory. We work, piece by piece, with the artisans who have kept these trades alive for generations.

Where it is made
The medina is organised by craft. Leather in the Souk Talaa, brass near the Ben Youssef, pottery down in Tamegroute, weaving up in the Middle Atlas. We travel to each, sit at the bench, and buy directly from the maker.
Made to order, on purpose
Most of what we sell is produced when you buy it. A short wait, usually two to three weeks, and nothing is mass-produced or stockpiled. A rug is knotted for you. A pouf is cut and stitched for you.
Why the small differences matter
Natural wool takes dye unevenly. Hammered brass carries the mark of the hammer. Hand-thrown clay is never perfectly round. We could hide these things. We would rather point at them. They are the difference between something made by a person and something made by a machine.
Our promise
- Fair pay at the bench, every time.
- Honest materials: real wool, full-grain leather, solid brass, natural clay.
- No greenwashing: made to order, in small batches, with low waste.
- The maker’s mark kept, not sanded away.
